Soft body rope, with rigid bodies attached

Hi. We have one soft body rope, with 2 rigid bodies attached to the start and end of the rope, the one at the start is flying controlled by user. How do you think should be the best way to keep the second one under the first one as much as posible? What we are trying is to have in a vertical line user rigid body, rope, second rigid body, at the time first one is flying, to make easy to unattach the second body on a specific target point. Thanks very much for any advice.
