Hi,
i was trying to load a robot model in collada format using the colladaDemo program. Model was created in Maya using rigidbody solver, gravity fields and a hinge constraint for a connected robot arm motion. I put a passive rigidbody plane under that robot model so that it won't fall. When i import this into bullet3d the the robot is well palced on top of the plane, the hinge constraint in robot elbow is working but if i releave after a move the robot arm goes back. It goes like a pendulum. Also if i was trying to move that arm the whole body is moved along with that. I know the actual physics behind this motion is right, but i want that robot to be fixed on that plane. Also how can i use the constraint support in Maya effectively in Bullet. I was able to move that robot arm to the particular location with a certain acceleration. How can i control the bullet 3d physics simulation environment. Also how can i import a static (not a rigidbody) collada model in to Bullet3d. Any one please help.
thanks,
Sujith
